Start in Rifle Mountain Park. Head up canyon to the mouth of Little Box Canyon. Go Right towards Triangle Park. Bust it uphill on a dirt road to the junction of Little Box and 211. Head Left through rolling meadows and aspen groves on a sometimes sandy dirt road. Turn Left into a primitive trailhead parking area- This is the upper 2150 Trailhead. Pass through a cattle gate and head down some sweet singletrack all the way back to Rifle canyon.

We have over 75 years of backcountry guiding experience,  all are certified in emergency backcountry first aid.

Bicyclists of all ages and abilities, nature hikers and horseback riders enjoy the level 8.8 mile multi-use trail that circles the lake, passing several wildlife viewing stations and the park's wildlife refuge.
