SHOWCASE OF RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES
 
The Showcase of Retirement Communities will be held at eight of the Pikes Peak area's top luxury retirement communities Saturday June 12 and Sunday June 13 between noon and 5 pm. This year's participants include Village at Skyline, Palisades at Broadmoor Park, the Inn at Garden Plaza, Viewpointe, Cheyenne Place, MacKenzie Place and new this year; Liberty Heights and Summit Glen.
The 2010 Showcase offers the community a chance to preview an entire range of beautifully staged independent living home styles, locations, floor plans, prices, features and services available in the marketplace today.
The free event features tours, food, entertainment and giveaways. Showcase communities can be visited in any order. After a brief registration, guests will receive a Showcase Passport to be stamped at all communities for chances to win prizes throughout the weekend. Carpooling is encouraged.
After visiting the communities, the public will be able to vote for the "Best of." Awards including Best Dining, Best Place for Mom or Dad, Best Services and Amenities, Staff, Activities, Value and overall Best of Show.
